Kate Schettler, RDT, LPCC

At Colorado Women’s Center, Kate provides a warm, non-judgmental therapy space and works collaboratively to support each client’s unique journey. She believes in the innate strengths and resilience of individuals and enjoys working with clients at all life stages and abilities. Kate has experience with life transitions, loss, grief, trauma, medical diagnoses, stress, anxiety, and depression. She integrates creative art processes such as story, role play, movement, music, art, poetry, and more to enhance mind-body connection and provide new perspectives. 

Kate earned her master’s degree in Drama Therapy and is registered with the North American Drama Therapy Association. She completed counseling coursework at Naropa University, emphasizing contemplative practices and an inclusive approach. Her therapeutic methods blend talk therapy with creative, expressive, embodied, and contemplative processes. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and dog, and engages in various forms of art, including visual art, music, dance, and poetry.
